Woodland WA Auto Repair

My car was not starting and had spit two quarts of oil all over my engine. Chuck Jones was the only place within the area that had availability. Their schedule was tight so it took a few days, but Carl (hard to hear names over the phone, hope I got it right!) was incredibly communicative and called promptly with information updates as I had my Civic towed and dropped off. I wasn't available to be present and he was very understanding and careful to explain the diagnosis over the phone. Carl identified my brand new alternator had failed and he wanted to respect the warranty before touching it. I then explained my confusion over the oil issue. He offered to diagnose that for free and carefully looked at the problem over some days with testing. Ultimately, the damage was catastrophic (too much for me to pay for at least) and I'll have to sell her. :( But the communication was great, the people understanding of the situation and overseeing tow drop off/pickup, and the diagnosis, labor, and testing cost me a bit under $190.
