Months back they saved us when we broke down. We were traveling to Seattle from southern Oregon because my uncle had just passed. Long story short, it was a busy Friday for them and they somehow squeezed us in so we were able to salvage the weekend with my Aunt. Now that some time has passed, the truck is still better than ever. When we returned home, the mechanics and grease monkeys in the family were beyond impressed with their work. If you have one in your family, you understand their egos and how big of a compliment that is. We are forever grateful.

I had a nail in my tire that needed to be plugged. We had guests in from 3 different states and the car was key to a picnic we had planned. I showed up this past friday when they opened. They already had 4 cars ahead of me that had appointments. Jim saw that it was a minor repair and allowed it to be repaired in between the next to repairs. I like small town loyalty and it was small to them but big to me get me down the road. Thank you Jim and crew for your customer service driven care. Lance La Center

I had a very disappointing experience with Chuck Jones. I didn't want to make a review, but they keep requesting it. I sent my truck there for a timing chain replacement, a/c controller replacement and a window regulator replacement. I was quoted $1300. After two weeks, I called to check on the status. It wasn't worked on yet, because they were short technicians. I asked them if they could communicate with me more at that point. The next week came by and I checked back, since I had heard nothing from them. They ended up getting me the truck back the next day. When I received the bill, it was over $5k. I asked to speak with the manager who gave me the quote and they said that he no longer works there. I paid the bill and left. A week later, the truck broke down. I took it back and they said that they would diagnose it and have it back in a week. After a week and a half, I went to check on it, since I heard nothing from them. They had not diagnosed it yet. I went back a week later, no change, still no communications. I went back the third week and the manager said that they were too busy to get to it. At that point, I asked the manager for the keys, called for a tow truck and took it to another shop in Vancouver. The manager was pretty indifferent about the situation. I paid for the initial repair and was put on the back burner when the truck went down after the repair. The auto repair shop in Vancouver had the truck ready the day after it was taken there. I ended up paying an additional $380 for the repair and almost $300 in towing. The repair shop in Vancouver replaced items that should have been replaced during the repair. The worst part of this experience was the lack of communications. I understand that things happen with labor shortages, but if they could have just gave me updates. I ended up not trusting them.

Chuck Jones did a fantastic job through the entire process of repairing my truck. I'm always a little cautious trying a new mechanic as I've been burned in the past. But I've needed a new one since moving to the area. They were able to clearly communicate their process to find the issue and once it was found give an accurate estimate on the cost. They also completing the job in the time frame that they said they would. I would recommend them to anyone.
