I am from another State and needed a local mechanic to check out a vehicle that I was looking at on Craigslist. Having been burned before for buying sight unseen, the fee that Chuck charged me to do a VERY thorough unbiased inspection of the vehicle, was well worth it. Chuck's was honest and accurate with their estimate of the money and time it would take to fix my car. They were kind, thoughtful and again, honest. They did a great job and I would go back to then for any of my car troubles without the bat of an eye. Very fair in prices as well!

This has been my automotive repair shop for ten years. Chuck and Vicki Jones have repeatedly earned my trust. Initially, I got quotes from other places to compare to theirs and found their prices highly competitive. More recently, with a newer vehicle, I visited the dealership's service station and was charged significantly higher. I gladly returned to Chuck's. They are friendly, honest, knowledgeable and get me in reasonably quickly after I phone. They are well worth my drive from Vancouver to Woodland. I've recommended them to friends and family who have all been equally pleased. I highly recommend.

Family owned, honest, affordable and stands by their work. I cant rave enough about Chuck Jones Automotive and it's owner Chuck. I got a little in over my head buying a classic car that needed work. Chuck was quick to diagnose what the car needed and provided an estimate. I shopped around and he beat every garage I checked in Vancouver with his initial quote. Same car, a year later (today in fact, the reason why I am reviewing him) I am selling the car and have a guy on his way in from out of town to inspect the car. I hadn't started the car since the last parade it was in and when I did, it leaked gas from the fuel pump. I called Chuck in a panic and he was able to fix it before the guy arrived. This guy and his garage are the goods! Woodland Washington is too small to survive with a bad reputation and in this economy, Chuck has actually expanded to a larger shop. I think that is evidence enough that this garage does good honest business. BTW I have seen all types of autos in his shop, not just hot rods. I have no reservations about taking my other autos there when they need it.

i have had a car there all summer, everytime I call i hear the same story- waiting for parts and I'll have chuck call you. in a three month period i have yet to receive a call back. I understand there are special circumstances and have been very patient, but summer is over and can't enjoy my car. what am I supposed to do? I am disabled and can't do it myself, I have the tools and the knowledge,but my body won't cooperate I just want to enjoy my car while i still can. Ray Harrington

While on vacation in Washington and Oregon, our Suburu Forester broke down while stuck in traffic on I-5 in Woodland. The tow truck driver told us that he was not going to take us to the shop associated with his tow company, but "somewhere better." He dropped us at Chuck Jones. The shop is clean, and Mike, behind the counter, was friendly and helpful. He explained that they were really busy, but realized we were on vacation and would be needing our car. The next day, we got a call from Mike explaining that our clutch had burned out and the CV Joint was worn out. Our car was ready to pick up by the end of the next day. The shop had realized that we were on vacation, so expedited our service. The repair bill was reasonable for the type of repair, and the service was wonderful. If this shop was nearer to home, this is where we would go for service.

I can only review them in terms of small repair and maintenance work as I have not had any major auto issues since I have been coming to Chuck for the last 3 years. I have found them to be courteous, professional and reasonably priced, even going out of their way to: give me a lift when dropping a car off; taking a look at cars and troubleshooting (an no charge too); even telling me that I should go to place x instead of Chuck Jones when it would save me money or if special expertise is required. They have earned my vote and I am a loyal customer for all my vehicles.
