I got stuck in the middle of a DIY job at home and needed help. I rolled into Chuck Jones Automotive the next morning and while the doors were up, I found out they were closed. Chuck was there and was still interested in how he could help. I told him my situation and even though it was his day off, he had me back on track again by that afternoon and at a very reasonable price. I'm new to town and am very pleased to have made this connection with Chuck. I'll be back for sure. Thank you!

The one place that will do great work and a fair price. This is the only place that I have found that cares about you and you can trust will NOT rip you off. Great job Ryan and Chuck!

Great service. They did what they said they would for the price they quoted and in a very timely manor.

these people Do Not stand behind their work. you get a different story from everyone you talk with there. been to the auto repair/tire store 3 times and had 3 bad experiences. very evasive about what they can do and how much it will cost. the service manager you meet when you walk through the front door is there to sell $100 diagnostics. my new mechanic tells me the napa parts they use are sub-standard at best.

Deb Adams – you have never been to our repair facility. You purchased a vehicle from one of our customers. The new water pump that had been recently installed failed. I do not have knowledge if this was before or after you purchased the vehicle. My business has a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on part and labor as well as a 2 year 24,000 mile nationwide warranty…to the original owner at the time of repair. Your “mechanic/friend” spoke to my Service Advisor as well as the owner Chuck Jones. Your friend was told that if it was failure of the recently replaced new water pump we would honor our warranty for you. We scheduled you in and a new pump was waiting here for you. You failed to bring the vehicle in. Your friend called and stated that he chose to replace the water pump himself and wanted us to reimburse you. Unfortunately, we do not reimburse anyone for doing work on our behalf especially work that is not authorized by us. We use high quality parts and stand by that with our 3 year 36,000 mile warranty – which we were extending to you. It is unfortunate that a new part would fail but it happens. The water pump had a manufacture warranty in addition to the warranty we were extending to you but like most warranties it was to the purchaser/original owner – which again would have been honored if you would have brought the vehicle here for us to repair under warranty. With great pride and integrity we stand by our work and give our community honest reliable service. Vicki Jones Owner

While on vacation in Washington and Oregon, our Suburu Forester broke down while stuck in traffic on I-5 in Woodland. The tow truck driver told us that he was not going to take us to the shop associated with his tow company, but "somewhere better." He dropped us at Chuck Jones. The shop is clean, and Mike, behind the counter, was friendly and helpful. He explained that they were really busy, but realized we were on vacation and would be needing our car. The next day, we got a call from Mike explaining that our clutch had burned out and the CV Joint was worn out. Our car was ready to pick up by the end of the next day. The shop had realized that we were on vacation, so expedited our service. The repair bill was reasonable for the type of repair, and the service was wonderful. If this shop was nearer to home, this is where we would go for service.

My Subaru blew a head gasket on the way to Nevada from Vancouver and Chuck's were able to replace the gasket in just one day! They were even so polite and helpful as to give me a lift into town. I would highly recommend Chuck's and be very happy using them for all my mechanical needs.

Family owned, honest, affordable and stands by their work. I cant rave enough about Chuck Jones Automotive and it's owner Chuck. I got a little in over my head buying a classic car that needed work. Chuck was quick to diagnose what the car needed and provided an estimate. I shopped around and he beat every garage I checked in Vancouver with his initial quote. Same car, a year later (today in fact, the reason why I am reviewing him) I am selling the car and have a guy on his way in from out of town to inspect the car. I hadn't started the car since the last parade it was in and when I did, it leaked gas from the fuel pump. I called Chuck in a panic and he was able to fix it before the guy arrived. This guy and his garage are the goods! Woodland Washington is too small to survive with a bad reputation and in this economy, Chuck has actually expanded to a larger shop. I think that is evidence enough that this garage does good honest business. BTW I have seen all types of autos in his shop, not just hot rods. I have no reservations about taking my other autos there when they need it.
